These are pictures from August of 2007. A tremendous amount of work this month. We finish with the hay, pound in all our fence posts and even do a little fencing. We finish off the month with pouring our concrete floors. Click on the photos to get bigger ones at better resolution.

August 1st, 2007 - Baling hay.

August 2nd, 2007 - Continuing to bale and stack. Also a lesson on how not to stack hay. We work right up until sunset.

August 3rd, 2007 - Friends and family join us to get all our hay under cover.

August 5th, 2007 - Filling up the barn and shelter with hay.

August 6th, 2007 - Hay is fully secure.

August 10th, 2007 - We rent a post pounder and get to work.

August 11th, 2007 - We pound in over 200 posts in a single day.

August 22nd, 2007 - We're all ready for concrete. We get our first gate mounted and even put up some fence boards.

August 25th, 2007 - The Manders come to help us and we pour concrete. At the end of the day we end up just a little short.
