These are pictures from August 2009. We get the footings totally formed out and level them. 10 cm difference between the East and West sides so we have to do some adjusting. We also get working on the rebar. Alan's parents come for a visit and Alan's dad Ken helps work on the oat box. We also get the arena stripped and ready for posts and fence.

August 1st, 2009 - Forms for the footings are all layed out.

August 8th, 2009 - We rent a level and find the footings are off by 10 cm between east and west. Lots of lifting to do on the west side.

August 12th, 2009 - Footings are leveled. Quite a lift on the west side.

August 19th, 2009 - The family comes over and we work on the oat box. Austin cuts rebar. Lots of sparks fly.

August 20th, 2009 - Everything's level now, including the boxes for the jack posts.

August 22nd, 2009 - We get the top soil stripped for the arena. Alan and his father finish off the oat box.

August 30th, 2009 - We finally start laying rebar.

August 31st, 2009 - Continuing with rebar. Lots to do.
